UE preseaza Romania sa adopte Legea Big Brother

 Comisia Europeana a cerut joi in mod oficial Romaniei si Germaniei sa ia masuri in urmatoarele doua luni de zile pentru transpunerea in legislatiile proprii a directivei UE care obliga furnizorii sa stocheze datele de trafic si localizare pentru convorbirile telefonice si pe internet. 
Nerespectarea acesteia poate aduce tarii respective un proces la Curtea Europeana de Justitie. Este vorba de asa numita lege Big Brother, care prevede stocarea datelor de trafic (nu si a continutului) si care a fost adoptata in 2008, insa in anul 2009 a fost declarata neconstitutionala.

"De la momentul pronuntarii de catre Curtea Constitutionala a Germaniei si, respectiv, a Romaniei, a hotararilor de anulare a legilor nationale de transpunere a Directivei privind pastrarea datelor, cele doua tari nu au aratat cand si in ce mod vor adopta noile acte legislative in materie. Intarzierile inregistrate in prezent de Germania si Romania in ceea ce priveste transpunerea directivei in legislatia nationala ar putea avea un impact negativ asupra pietei interne a comunicatiilor electronice si asupra capacitatii autoritatilor politienesti si judiciare de a depista, a cerceta si a urmari penal infractiunile grave", explica executivul European decizia de a transmite celor doua tari avizele motivate.
